The Variable Market plan is no longer offered to new customers and is applicable only to existing customers already enrolled on this plan. The June price per therm for the Variable Market plan is $1.699. The June price per therm is $1.749, and the customer service charge is $9.99 depending on credit criteria/payment history. Customers with the higher price per therm of $1.749 and customer service charge of $9.99 will see Variable Market Limited on their bill. All other customers who enrolled on the Variable Market plan prior to 9/11/06 have a customer service charge of $5.95, and customers who enrolled on the Variable Market plan between 9/11/06 and 12/4/06 have a customer service charge between $3.99 and $5.95.

This plan has a price per therm that is guaranteed to be at least $0.05 per therm lower than GNG's standard variable price offer.

Qualifying seniors who are enrolled on either our Variable Select or Variable Market plan will receive a discounted price per therm that is guaranteed to be lower than our standard variable price offer.

This plan is designed for customers who use at least 1,000 therms per year, although there is no minimum usage required to enroll in the plan. The plan has two price tiers. The price per therm for the first tier (1-74 therms used in a billing cycle) is a variable price guaranteed to be no higher than GNG's standard variable price offer. The price per therm for the second tier (75+ therms used in a billing cycle) is guaranteed to be at least $0.10 per therm lower than our tier-one price.

This plan is available only to GNG customers who were previously Commerce Energy customers and is not available for new enrollments. This plan carries an Interstate Capacity Charge of $5.69 per DDDC.
